Hidden Jam. Just order any sandwich on the menu, they are all good!!! They have Matte too! The best thing is the unique ambiance . Will come back for more!

so amazing atmosphere like a retreat into a forest tree house just beautiful craftsmanship a delightful artful surprise! Oh and food excellent, homemade breads and farm fresh menu what a treasure. best soups ever and a fav the very best coconut cream pie! Really it's all very good.

As someone who frequented the Yellow Deli in Nelson I am thoroughly impressed with this location! Food is spectacular as always, service is great and the atmosphere is amazing. Cozy and homely feeling. Perfect place to go on a rainy day. Would recommend!

I stopped in here for dinner today as I'd heard good things about this place and they didn't disappoint. The owner greeted me warmly immediately and had me sit down at one of their unique wooden tables. She explained that everything from the bread to the hand soap in the washrooms is made in house and gave me a quick rundown of the menu. I ordered the Deli Rose sandwich and a bowl of chilli with a cold apple cider and it all hit the mark. The sandwich was steamed and turned out absolutely delectable, the meat in the chilli was tender and gave the impression of well seasoned meatloaf chunks, and the side chips were perfectly crispy, and salty. 100% would recommend.

Beautiful building, delicious fresh food,and thoughtful staff. Today I visited this Deli randomly with no previous info. My wife and I where impressed with the indoor seating first, soon after was the delicious smells from the kitchen. We where seated outside and by our choice and loved the small but unique menu. All bread and food was made there, and you could taste that it was. So Fresh and delicious! Our server was kind and gave us a brief history of the business when we asked. I very highly recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.

What a little gem! I was blown away with this beautiful place! I had a Corned beef sandwich and a Mint Mocha. It was absolutely amazing! The ser vice was friendly and on the spot! Everyone who visits Courtnay should not pass this Deli! Thank you so much for a very positive experience!

What a lovely deli to stumble upon when visiting from out of town. It is beautiful! I consider myself a hobbit at heart and the vibe here is perfect. The butternut cream soup was fantastic, as was my latte. I wish I could have stayed longer to try more things. The staff were warm and welcoming. It was also very clean. You could feel the heart put into this deli. Lunch here was exactly what I needed for my long drive home, thank you so much!

Just adding another 5 star review to this exceptionally awesome restaurant. Heard lots of good things about the Yellow Deli and they were all true. I was initially impressed by how spotlessly clean the place is, even the outdoor patio (which is really nice). Bathroom felt like you were visiting someone’s home. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Service couldn’t have been better. Felt very comfortable and relaxed in the incredibly cool environment they created. I ordered a cold Hibiscus tea and a corn beef sandwich which was melt in your mouth goodness. Not sure where they get their bread from but it was so darn tasty. It gives me great pleasure to support such a well run, fabulous business. I live in Parksville, but will definitely be stopping by the Yellow Deli every time I’m here.
